Located in the 5th Ward of the City, borders Springdale Avenue, North Grove Street, and 4th Avenue. This park contains a swimming pool and with a pool house, a water spray park area, a multi-purpose sports turf field, two basketball courts, and a playground area for both sensory and non-sensory youth. There is an outdoor fitness area with various exercise apparatus. The Columbian Park Field House is the Home Base of the East Orange Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) and the American Legion.

Located in the 3rd Ward of the City, borders Elmwood Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue, Freeman Avenue, and Oak Street. This park contains seven tennis courts on Rhode Island Avenue, a basketball court on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Oak Street, a swimming pool with a pool house, a walking track, a baseball field, a softball field, and a fieldhouse. Little league baseball, soccer, and summer basketball league games are played at this park. Elmwood Park is the location of many of the city of East Orange’s music festivals.
Located in the 4th Ward of the City, borders Grove Street and Central Avenue behind Dionne Warwick Elementary School. This park contains a pool, a small fieldhouse, a baseball field, and two play areas.
Located in the 2nd Ward of the City is “The Backyard” of the Main East Orange Public Library branch on So. Arlington Avenue, bordering Freeway Drive East, Lenox Avenue, and South Walnut Street. The park contains a basketball court, a skate park, and two play areas.
Memorial Park is a significant green space within East Orange, serving as a memorial to honor and remember those who have served in the armed forces. The park is often utilized for community events, recreational activities, and as a gathering place for residents.
Located in the 4th Ward of the City is “The Backyard” of the Fellowship Civic Center. It borders Greenwood Avenue, Fellowship Circle, Eaton Place, North Grove Street, and Grove Place. This park contains a baseball field, a playground area, a walking track, a fieldhouse, a volleyball court, and three basketball courts. Little league baseball, soccer, and summer basketball league games are played at this park. Oval Playground is a recreational area that provides outdoor space for residents and visitors to engage in various activities. The park is designed to accommodate different age groups from youth to senior citizens.
Located in the 2nd Ward of the City, borders North Arlington Avenue and William Street. Rowley Park has four basketball courts, a play area, water spray park, a modern fieldhouse, walking track, exercise stations and a large natural grass field.

Located in the 1st Ward of the City, borders Springdale Avenue, Brighton Avenue, and North Park Street. Soverel Park is the largest park in East Orange. It has two baseball fields, a softball field, a walking track, three basketball courts, three tennis courts, two playground areas, and a fieldhouse. Soverel Field is a recreational area that offers outdoor space for various activities. The park is designed to cater to different age groups and interests, providing amenities for sports, leisure, and community gatherings.
